Things you need to Know on your Next Printing Job

When giving out your printing files make sure that you only include the files to be printed on your storage media or else you should be ready to pay for extra services on whatever files your printing company prints on your behalf.

If it is possible make sure to have a hard copy of your file and clip together with your diskette for turnover so that the printing company will have an idea on what you’re trying to print. “A picture is worth a thousand words”

Never use JPG or GIF formats or other file extensions found on the internet because they are usually low resolution and JPEG has a compression option which can be visible when printing large sized prints like posters. Stick with TIFF or EPS for your images.

If you are printing on a color process make sure to convert your RGB prints to CMYK or you might have a color result that does not quite fit into your expectations.

Always make sure to cover out your bases and watch every step detail by detail in all the area of your printing job.

Hello,

I found your site/blog interesting and would like to buy an ad on your page:
http://checkprints.blogspot.com/

The ad would be the following website [www.x-digital.com].

I don't have very big budget, but I'm sure we could arrange a reasonable price.

If you're interested, please get back to me(jules@bestrank.com).

Thanks!
