The search for catalogers

The latest in catalog printing? A large majority of catalogers are turning to desktop publishing systems and are doing most of their printing jobs in-house. The need for saving time and money is what drives them to take their printing in their own homes. Catalog printing has gotten back its importance in the marketing of products and services. No wonder people have been trying to get back catalog printing. Small as they may seem, they tend to cost much and not all people can afford the budget needed for them. Not to be downfallen, catalog printers began conducting trainings and sessions and consulting the in-house printers about the design, equipments and software. It seems these printers cannot take “no” for an answer and doing their best in following their customers.

Some printers are even willing to invest their own money for new equipments just to make these customers happy and get them. One company came up with an idea in ink-jet imaging that caters in private sales for targeted individuals. This is done with customers being reminded in their new catalogs about an order they have made in the past with the same company and can reorder that same item but for a lesser and special price. Talk about marketing. What would they think of next?
